Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer (Multiple Openings) 

Job Description:

• Analyze business requirements and design processes with PLM software functionality to meet the business requirements.

• Perform Oracle Agile end to end implementation.

• Design and develop PLM and integrated apps.

• Use advanced principles of Agile PLM to design migration of data from legacy systems into Agile and other PLM software.

• Define reporting extracts from Agile PLM for users based on requirements.

• Create, document and maintain design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.

• Analyze and troubleshoot issues reported by business users and identify workarounds and design solutions to issues.

• Provide support to business users and coordinate efforts between business users and software development organization. 

• Analyze reported technical issues, identify software bugs, data issues and propose resolutions. 

• Log service requests and work with software provider to get the bugs resolved. 

• Present technical solutions to management to ensure modeled on the system and business requirements. 

• Work with Oracle Agile PLM, SQL, PL/SQL, Jdk, Linux, Groovy, REST and SOAP Web Services, Log4j, Maven, Eclipse, SQL Developer, SOAP UI, Oracle PLM Cloud, HPQC, Microsoft Office, Apache Tomcat, GitHub.

• 40 hrs/wk. 

• Must have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electr Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field. 

• Must have 2 years experience (or 2 years experience as Oracle Agile PLM Consultant, or related occupation).

• Must have 2 years experience performing Oracle Agile end to end implementation and designing and developing PLM and integrated apps; working with Oracle Agile PLM, Oracle PLM Cloud, HPQC, Github, SQL, PL/SQL, Jdk, Linux, Rest, Soap.

• Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time.
